Using simple text and pictures, Vicnet's Internet training workbooks are ideal for training seniors, people from non-English speaking backgrounds, people with a disability, and people with low literacy levels.

The workbooks were developed for the CALD Senior Surfers and Internet Training for People with a Disability programs (delivered by Vicnet on behalf of Department of Planning and Community Development). They are published under a Creative Commons license which allows them to be freely downloaded, printed, adapted and used for non-commercial purposes.

Vicnet received Scope's Community Partnership Award in 2009 for its work developing the Easy English workbooks. The workbooks are used by libraries, neighbourhood houses, community colleges, disability services and many other community organisations across Victoria, and increasingly interstate and internationally.
